Sorry for the light posting of late.  There is a lot going on that I can’t tell you about just yet, but there are some good things in the works that will be coming up soon.  In the meantime, I’d like to share some recent photos of Phoenix, who is growing up so fast!  Enjoy!

We got Phoenix a little backpack that has a leash on it, because she tends to run away and it’s not safe just to get her do that.  The backpack looks like a clownfish and it’s so cute!

Her hair is getting a little long so we took her to get her first haircut.

The poor baby was so tired that she fell asleep in the car on the way there, and remained asleep while we talked with the boss lady.

The boss lady convinced us that she didn’t really need to have her hair cut just yet, and that we should just comb it!

We hope you’ve enjoyed these new photos.  Clicking on any one of them will take you to our flickr.com site where you can find even more photos in this series (there were too many to post here).  Feel free to leave us your comments below!

    1. hi Jim. she says quite a few things, and a plethora of unintelligible stuff (i’m sure you remember). she says “xie xie” quite a bit, as well as “hao” and “jiga” (this in Chinese) and English words like “hi” “bye-bye” and “baby.” the other day she said “pee pee” and “poo poo” which will come in handy when it’s time for potty training. she seems to understand whatever is said to her in either language, and she often responds in her own gibberish language. so, Phoenix appears to be developing normally. take care, Jim and thanks.
