Another Day Drinking Thai Beer

Last night I was sitting in a cafe drinking some Chang beer and eventually ended up at the table of some others who were drinking nearby. From my new hosts, I learned that all Thai beers contain formaldehyde because its used to clean out the bottles. Later in the evening I had the worst headache I have experienced in memory, and I had to sleep while sitting upright. I drank what is a normal amount of beer for me and ended up very ill. It would seem that something was wrong with the beer, but I don’t want to come right out and blame the beer. Just be careful what you drink and how much.
