Low ISO, Long Exposure Experiments

I’ve done high ISO exposures with the D7000 and there are many artifacts and strange colors, noise, etc., as a result.  So, I decided to take some photos at ISO 100, with a long duration to see what happened.  I alternated between noise reduction on and off, and it’s hard for me to tell the difference.  Here are 4 photos that I processed in Lightroom:

Taken from my roof, this is what the factories across the street look like.

Below are various other shots from my roof.  You can click on any photo, go to the Flickr page and view the EXIF data if you wish.  I have some pesky dust on my sensor that won’t blow off with compressed air.  I’m going to have to take it somewhere to have it cleaned, or I have to acquire the tools to clean it myself.

  1. I like these pictures. Would love to travel, but aging is taking away ability to allow much of it. I enjoy all the pictures you, my son, and others put online so I can see places that I will never get to visit.
