While in Kaohsiung I went to a restaurant featuring this mural. It took me a few moments to recover from my bewilderment enough to use my mobile phone and snap this shot. What do you think?

Definitely a good title. It looks like something out of a Hope and Crosby “Road to ” picture.
hi Tom. well i can’t figure it out for the life of me, but you reminded me that i need to go back and watch those great films! thanks!
Hula girls and teepees! Odd, just odd. Was there an Elvis movie along these lines? 😉

Snap, i’m with you! must have been the set of an Elvis movie! hehe
No where in the USA have I seen hula girls anywhere near teepees. Strange idea for a mural.
hi Carolyn. i have no idea what they are trying to promote. i can only say “bizzare.” lol
That’s hilarious. Well, I suppose both of those are “American” and exotic – though I guess that’s a fit. 😀
yes Stefan, both motifs come from the USA but they sure are at opposite ends of the spectrum! lol
