We happened to be in Kaohsiung during the start of this year’s celebration.Throngs of people were down at the Love River for the opening of the Lantern Festival.This is the scene to the right of the above photo.Walking along the bridge over the Love River we can see the site of the lantern displays.

We also took a look at the “Dome Of Light” in Formosa Boulevard station.Approaching the station, we saw these bikes in the rack:There are plenty of bike racks to lock up your fixie along the road on the way to the KRT station.

Well, I don’t need a personal invitation like that, but it sure was nice hearing Shao-hui say it.
