The man to the left in this photograph is Michael Turton. I am proud to call him my friend. I feel stupid around Michael Turton because he is so well informed about everything, and I’m just a dumb field engineer/musician. He is the author of what some people would arguably call the Best Fucking Blog On Taiwan and I would be among that number. Michael is coming to visit in 2 weeks and I have a great evening of Philippine, Thai, Indian and Taiwanese culture lined up. He has no idea what is in store for him - don’t tell him!
