Taiwan River

Last weekend Hui-chen and I went to a very nice place in the Jian Shi area of Taiwan. We wanted to show you what it was like to be there before we get into our next installment of our US trip. We’ll let the photos do the talking.
This is very typical of a river in Taiwan, complete with waterfall. The island is known for stunning topography and I’m sure you’ll agree that this was a great place to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.

The Taiwan River is truely beautiful and peaceful. Reminds me of places I have seen in California and Washington.
I am glad I saw this new addition as I was going to email you this morning to check if you both were okay as it had been awhile since you added to your blog.

hi Carolyn. we waited for 2 weeks to post another article because the last one was so photo-intensive at over 100 shots! plus we got a little busy with our business, so our apologizes to you and thanks for your concern. we wanted to post those photos of the river because in our next installment we’re going to take a look at a New Hampshire river and the area looks similar – it makes for an interesting comparison. take care Carolyn!

Nice looking river. A few people that I know… the first thing they would ask is… can you go fishing in it???
Some of your friends went swimming in it bu you didn’t. Getting a tad bit cold here to want to do any swimming (unless its indoors).

MJ what a beautiful spot and has made me want to dust off the fly fishing gear and start throwing a few flies about the place.
Looking forward to your next blog of your America trip.
