I am there in spirit my friend. Why did you set up on the bike path?

Hope it was a great get together and look forward to the report.

hi Brunty. it would have been really great to have you here with us! we set up on the boardwalk, where the shelter was built. the bike path is behind the boardwalk on the other side of the coast road. the boardwalk is cobblestoned and bumpy, yet quite a few people did ride their bikes on it. i’ve never done that because of the purpose-built bike path. thanks.

I bet the weather there was better than the weather here for this. The weather here on Saturday only got up to about 16c… and when I woke up this morning it was about 7c. However… with Tuesday being the first day of fall/autumn… they are calling for it to get to about 26c here.

It looks funny how they have built the path and then whacked a shelter smack bang in the guts of it. That is something the Thais would do 🙂

Brunty, i thought the design of the shelter was rather retarded myself. we had several groups of cyclists carry their bikes right through the shelter. not a good design.
