What do you do when it’s cold outside, and you happen to live in Asia? You make a ripping hot spicy hotpot dish – that’s what you do! Just look at that jar of chili sauce!

Just look at this closeup!
What do you do when it’s ready?

You invite your friends over and eat together like one big family!
I know I speak for all the other foreigners who are fortunate to be living here when I say that I really appreciate the generosity and kindness shown to me by my friends in Taiwan, and throughout Asia. I am constantly being invited to eat, drink and party, and I really enjoy partaking of meals such as this, where everyone gets together and has a great time no matter where they are. In this case, we are inside a store. That just wouldn’t happen back in New Hampshire. After I snapped this shot a few more friends and family showed up. It was cool. Plus I forgot to mention, the Thai rum was flowing of course!
