Brunty, Shiang is all better now. we do have screens on all the windows and doors but they get in anyway, usually when we enter the house. one was in the room with him and just had at him. he's overly sensitive to the bites and that was the result. we do have mosquito killing aerosol dispensers that work. placing one in his room solved the problem, albeit a bit late.

for 2 of the articles there were 3 adults (plus Shiang) and for the Korean food article there were 5 adults. fortunately i know most of the foods here, but my problem is that many things look alike and when looking at the photos later, i don't remember what was what! thanks Brunty.

That's why i picked this week to talk about the food we've been eating :). i don't eat lamb because to me it tastes exactly like beef that has gone bad. it triggers my gag reflex to get rid of it. i honestly don't understand how anyone can eat it.

Man, MJ. You have been eating some really good food. I have to stop reading so late at night. I love crab as well but hate the mucking about. I loved mud crabs. Lots of meat and delicous.

MJ, why don't you eat lamb? Is it the smell? Or you tried and didn't like it.

Mj, great pictures. I feel sorry for your little mate Shiang. Here in Thailand houses rarely have mosquito screens on windows and doors. Is it the same there?

Kids at school will often have terrible mosquito bites on tehir legs and faces but not like Shiang, he must have had an reaction to the bites.

Firsts thing when i moves into our current house was mosquito screens. While waiting for them to be made a mosquito net in the bedroom that coveed the bed and TV. I hate mozzies.

What a feed you guys had. How many of you there? I am sure Shiang didn't eat too much as there isn't a lot of him.

I often eat things here in Thailand and when Noot tries to explain what was in it, it becomes too hard. So many times using the electronic dictionary to only find no match in English.

Thanks for sharing mate.

just under the title is a link called "Show on map." clicking that link will give you the location of the article, and in this case, the restaurant location on Google maps. there are many great Thai, Filipino and even Vietnam places in Hukou and maybe you should come here for a day to check them out.
